Whether you’re a casual user or a raving fan, you know you're not taking full advantage of Evernote.
You need an expert guide. You've found her.
I’m a productivity coach and top Evernote Certified Expert who helps disorganized and unproductive people get their lives in order with Evernote.
Evernote changed my life and transformed how I worked.
I can help you achieve the same transformation.
You’re juggling a million balls, ideas, and tasks, and keeping track of it all is exhausting.
Or maybe your Evernote account is a digital junk drawer – you can't find anything you need when you need it, and you’re wasting time looking for all your digital stuff.
Your brain simply can’t hold it all, but you need to find a way to get things done.
First, know that you’re perfectly normal, and second — I used to be in this dark, unproductive, and panicked place, and I’ve found my way out.
Evernote was the tool that made it all click.
I’ve been using Evernote since 2009, but like most people, I didn't fall in love with it immediately — it took me over a year to want to commit, and now, I’m all in.
After an 18-year career working in operations and marketing in California for Orange County’s most prestigious real estate firms, I had developed a flair for systems and organization.
I decided to put my MBA skills to good use, leave real estate, and start my own business.
I wanted to feel free, but instead, I felt frazzled.
The idea of a laptop lifestyle, traveling the world, and working from anywhere sounded like a dream. When I caught my first glimpse into this world, I knew it was for me.
Craving the freedom that a laptop lifestyle would give me, I dove head first into the world of entrepreneurship and set up my business teaching social media skills to the real estate industry. I was full of passion, but that wasn't enough. As a new business owner, I now had to manage my never-ending to-do list, contacts, meetings, finances, and everything else that goes along with running a business.
Here I was, feeling chained to my desk and trapped in the business I created to be free — and feeling anything but free.
I hit my breaking point and was spiraling out of control.
I was a panic-attack ridden entrepreneur, unable to prioritize the overwhelming volume of tasks and to-dos that piled up on my list and in my brain. I couldn’t focus and I was under constant pressure and was ready to pack it all in and give up on my business.
It was only when I reached my breaking point that I knew I had to take back control of my life.
I was a casual Evernote user when I discovered David Allen's book, Getting Things Done® (GTD). Reading this book was a turning point — I immediately saw that GTD was a productivity methodology that would bring me relief. I understood how I could finally operate as a productive and stress-free business owner.
I just needed to create a trusted system outside my brain – a core concept of the book. And, I knew Evernote was the right tool for the task.
After devouring the book in a weekend, I headed straight to my whiteboard and mapped out exactly how to organize Evernote to support a scalable GTD system. Over the next year, I continued honing my Evernote GTD organization and habits.
Soon after, as I was ticking the boxes on my to-do list like a CEO, I recognized that my passion for organization was far greater than the business I was running at the time. It was time to pivot into a new venture.
I started teaching others the same things that had transformed my work and life. I rolled up my sleeves and consulted with clients one-on-one, spoke to thousands live on stage, created Evernote software training, and developed workflow designs. I loved teaching others how to be effective in a digital world and get more done in less time.
Over the years, I spent hundreds of hours consulting with clients to effectively apply the power of Evernote in their lives and businesses.
Starting with my systems, I helped customize the platform to suit my clients’ needs — and I became an expert in coaching them to experience their own success and freedom with Evernote.
No matter what the Evernote use-case, the one thing all my consulting clients had in common was that they needed to up-level their Evernote skills.
Evernote is a very approachable tool. It’s also deceptively deep.
The more skilled they became with Evernote, the more productive they got.
And, what was possible for them with Evernote expanded exponentially.
I wanted everyone to experience the productivity boost that comes from understanding the platform. So, I set out to create the most effective Evernote training available and have done just that.
This was the beginning of a new life for me; I went from dabbling in Evernote to becoming fully immersed. I was fascinated by a system that had so much flexibility and hidden features that I could truly adapt and make it work for me and so many others.
In 2017, I stepped away from private consulting and put all that knowledge into online training.
Over time, I’ve developed and refined three key training paths:
The Academy — a monthly membership with expert training, coaching, advice, support and ideas to help people master Evernote.
The EverDone System — a guide and community of GTD practitioners who use my methodology to support an effective GTD lifestyle in Evernote.
Starting Fresh With Evernote — a self-paced course to take your Evernote account from a hot mess to clean and fresh.
I’m an Evernote advocate solely because I’m grateful for the complete personal and professional transformation I’ve experienced.
While I don’t work for Evernote, my passion for the product, teaching, and connecting with like-minded Evernote customers is as strong as anyone on their team.
For more than a decade, I’ve been officially associated with the company. First, in 2012, I was selected to be an Evernote Ambassador — their first official advocate program, which has evolved into the Evernote Community.
Today, I’m proud to be one of the first Evernote Certified Experts — a program that’s now 100+ members strong (and growing!) worldwide. Evernote recognizes its experts as having in-depth knowledge and the skills to help users customize Evernote to do exactly what they need it to do.
To become an Evernote Certified Expert, I passed a certification training (with flying colors), and now, I maintain my certification with ongoing training. With this Evernote-recognized certification in hand, I’m honored to formally evangelize Evernote, live the Evernote lifestyle, and share my excitement and knowledge with my students today.
I’ve also been hand-selected as 1 of 7 Evernote Regional Leaders. That might not mean that much to you, except that if you’re looking to do more with the tool, I’m your person, and Evernote recognizes this.
I’ve done most of this work from my home in Austin, Texas, but the joy of the work I do and the systems I’ve set up is that I’m completely location independent. I can work anywhere and access everything from wherever my wanderlust takes me — Lake Tahoe, Bali, and London are just a few of my favorite places. This is an incredible lifestyle for an adventurer like me.
The personal and business transformation I’ve experienced since embracing Evernote fuels my desire to keep helping others achieve the same.
And when I’m not crossing things off on my (still massive) to-do list, you’ll find me traveling or planning my next adventure, and enjoying Austin — cooking for friends, wine tasting, hiking, and dining at the latest hot spots. And of course, to keep satiating my love of organization, you’ll find me drooling over everything the Container Store has to offer.
Today, I create products that help business owners, CEOs, real estate professionals, and productivity geeks get their digital lives in order so they can give themselves more time.
In a world where our physical and digital worlds are a mess and time is our most valuable resource, mastering Evernote can change your life. I’m honored to share this knowledge with you.
